A tradition in Boston’s North End and a neighborhood favorite in Brookline Village, the Pomodoro logo combines playful rotation of the letters with a traditional serif font.

For the North End location, three business cards were designed in collaboration with illustrator Susy Pilgrim Waters. Printed with metallic inks on chip board by letterpress print shop, Albertine Press, the cards have a handcrafted, tactile quality.

For the Brookline Village location, five business cards were designed using photographs of paintings by Susy Pilgrim Waters. These paintings hang on the walls of the restaurant. Bold complementary colors are used on the reverse.

The signage at each location shares the logo, but is customized with different materials and color palettes to relate to the neighborhood surroundings and adhere to signage codes.
